Manuscripts from both the oral and the poster presentation are in the final stages of preparation before being submitted to peer-reviewed, international journals for publication.  Inclusion in the Special Issue of Hydrobiologia dedicated at the Conference is under consideration.

Both manuscripts are expected to be completed and submitted within weeks (poster on lake gastropod—planaria interactions) to a couple of months (oral presentation on the invasiveness of Elodea canadensis in European lakes).

With the occasion, the coauthors thank the organizers and the attendees of the "Shallow Lakes" Conference for the enriching exchanges of ideas that followed all presentations.
